PowerCell Sweden AB (publ) has received another patent approved in China, Canada and South Korea.
PowerCell continues to consolidate its position as a cutting-edge company in the field of fuel cell technology. The company has received another patent approved for unique features of the PowerCell S2 fuel cell stack.
The patent has previously been approved in Europe and Japan. With the new patent, fuel cells used in the PowerCell S2 can be manufactured more cost-effectively while increasing the product's power density.
With this patent registration, PowerCell has a significantly stronger protection than before, when the product was protected by the patent application itself.
The PowerCell S2 is optimized to operate on reformat gas but works equally well on pure hydrogen. One of the established uses of the PowerCell S2 is as range extenders for electric cars.
